Finally!! I'm Free..!!!~ it's already the end of the sem and I'm getting ready for my long trip..though I don't know where I'm heading after UK..huhu..Right now, I"m making up for my long absence of blogging due the time spent struggling to finish my final project..so...firstly, i filled you up with what I've been doing..a peek into architecture student life...

I don't have a drafting table at home..so I improvise when in need to do tracing to..haha..with my T-Square, scale ruler and all..
Well, I didn't get much sleep in a month now..and I'm overjoyed I get to sleep at normal hours now..My eyebags has reach the point where I might end up looking like a Panda. So basically, this whole time I was mostly locked up in my room doing my drawings and models till the sun comes up, which by then I try to sneak in two hours of sleep..And this is all for a final marks and review happening this week..the onbly good thing i get out of this is, I actually lost 2kg..huhu
Anyway, here's some architecture student's perspective on things that was forwarded in friendster, i edit it a bit..check it out...
If you are architecture student you've probably experienced:
> -the taste of UHU glue, super glue,pva..the pain of having your flesh ripped apart when you try separate your fingers that you accidently glued together when doing your model.
> -changes in your vocabulary: homework to project, ball to sphere, etc
> -you hate people telling you "go to sleep" or asking "do you still have a lot of work?"
> -your friends and you don't have the same concept of work "oh, well do it right before class".. haha
> -you've slept more than 20 straight hours on weekends..(when you've alrady submitted your project)
> -you can easily discuss with authority the effects of caffeine on different drinks
> -no matter the effort you put in a project, somebody will always say “why don’t you add this?" or “why don’t you change this here?" or “i think that…but…yeah, its ok.."
> -you’ve heard all your songs in a week (or less)..if you listen to the radio instead, you're probably the first one update on the latest songs and then easily claim the song to be 'old' as you heard it repeatedly when other people have just heard the song.
> -you aren’t seen in public without bags under your eyes
> -whenever you get invited somewhere, it is followed by “or.. do you have a lot of homework?"
> -you’ll dance ymca with a choreography without a drop of alcohol in your system..in the wee hours of morning..
> -you constantly make up excuses for courses that are not design related why you didn’t do your work
> -you have more pictures of landscapes and places than of people
> -when you just started the course, you looked smart and well-groomed..now, ended up going to class with flip-flops and without a shower
> -your worst nightmare consists of not finishing a project
> -someone once called you “lazy" and you wanted them murdered
> -you can live without human contact, sunlight, food, but if double A (xerox and stationary supply store-artistry) decided to close… chaos!!!
> -you dream to go to work with a smart suit, a drafting bag in hand, bazooka (cilinder casing for drawings) on your shoulders, and with lots of blueprint scrolls..
> -when somebody lends you a Bic pen (the normal pen) you look down at it and laugh..haha
> -you don’t care about sports cars, your favorite car is the one where you can put in your massive model and your huge computer
> -you design spectacular things without the idea of the cost
> -everybody tells you how they admire your work, “but there is no money for it.."
> -you’ve gained the ability to sleep in whatever surface: pencils, keyboards, filthy studio floor, backpacks, your studio mates, food, etc
> -you cut up any part of your body your blade can accidently slide on..and end up so used to it, that instead of wasting bandaids, you use tissue and masking tape(archi's most prized possession).
> -you always have the idea that your project will always be recognized
> -when you finally have free time to go out you keep thinking “who was the idiot that designed the restaurant’s bathroom?", "this steps isn't proportioned", “who designed this menu?" or “who designed this (chair, table, lighting, fork, etc)"
> This is the life architecture students chose..either we enjoy it or ,wut else can we do..
Yeah, that's how I lived this past 2years and a half..
