swimming in it

This is what I wanted.  And now I'm here.  You forget how hard moving is until you do it again.

Living here hasn't been easy, but then again I shouldn't of expected it to be.  I feel like I've been thrown so many financial, automotive, professional, and emotional speed bumps - but I'm making it through.  It's kind of like your first semester of college.  You deal with it and then everything gets better.

Don't get me wrong though - a lot of amazing things have been happening. 

Business is pretty good - I feel like the move really made things start happening on all different ends.  We're working on the Nashville Star project, which has been pretty cool - and just picked up a few more that I think we will love.

I got a last minute/amazing opportunity to make the road with Wild Honey to Minnesota, which was a completely surreal experience for everyone involved.  First big show, first big road trip.  I still don't believe it was real.

My little sister came up here to visit, and that was so much fun.  It was good to see her get out of Kentucky.  I'm glad I got to experience her first flight and her first view of the New York skyline with her.  She's such a good kid.  I think her trip might have inspired to try to do something a little different with life.

Last night I was Wicked, which was absolutely freaking amazing.  It was my first Broadway play, and I definitely wouldn't of had it any other way.  The story line, music, performers...everything was just absolutely fantastic.  I need to see more - and suggestions?

I finally got highly anticipated piece of mail, which put my life back on track again.  I hate that it controls me so much, but it does.  Life is better with it.

There's a lot of great new things in progress for The One Love right now - so be sure to keep checking back for updates.  I will let you know that we will be launching a merch store soon, and setting this site up so that anybody and everybody can blog.  Finally!
