WHATTTT?!?!? Yeah...

After having a not so happy week, I'm please to announce that this one has been much more uplifting!  Did a lot more hanging out than usual, and I think it was good for me.

 It was a little rough, but I narrowed my week down to five highlights.  You're probably starting to notice that I like listing highlights/items, and this is due to my unhealthy obsession with making "to do" lists.  Anyways, please enjoy below :)

Hick Chick Contest
This had to be one of the funniest/most random Nashville experiences ever.  Caroline and I went to Graham Central Station to see Cowboy Troy and John Rich host the Hick Chick finals contest, which promised to be a pretty interesting night already.  However, there were special guests at this event...and it was a pretty amazing lineup.

Dee Snider (TWISTED SISTER - he sand "We're Not Gonna Take It" and it was amazing)

Maureen McCormick (Marsha from "The Brady Bunch")

and...LIL JON!  He was judging with Sisqo and John Rich in a cage and sitting on hay.  See the picture of Lil Jon in a cage below.

The rest competed for the title of "Miss Hick Chick."  Please see the picture below of Dee Snider participating in the toilet seat ring toss.

Thurman (Thurm the Worm)
Brinn brought home her new dog this week, and it probably the cutest dog I've EVER seen.  I'm not much of a dog fan since I'm allergic, but Thurm is worth the watering eyes and stuffing nose.  He looks like he should be a stuffed animal puppy!  However, I must say that Thurman has bowel issues that he needs to work on.  I'll forgive him for now though.

Being Home Alone Tonight
I'm very excited that there is nobody at my house tonight.  Not because I don't want anybody to be here, but because I can play my guitar and SING really loud!  I won't do that when my roommates are around - it would be very inconsiderate of me.  I am an awful singer...probably worse than anybody you've ever heard.  Seriously.  But I must admit, I do enjoying singing and playing guitar.  It's the one thing that I don't try to perfect...I just do it and enjoy it.  I'm so competitive, and it's nice to have hobby where I'm not trying to be the best.  I was probably blessed with no musical talent for a good reason - so I could help people that do have the talent.  It's all worked out for the best.  Maybe one day I'll let you hear me sing, but we have to get to know each other really well first.  I'm very shy and self conscious about my bad singing.  However, once I finally sing for you, I'll never shut up.  Just thought I'd give you a warning.

Wild Honey @ Fuel
These girls are freakin' good, and I'm excited to watch them explode in Nashville.  I always love seeing them play, but full band just puts it over the top.  Their new "poppy" song it absolutely amazing...totally a hit song.  It's not up on their MySpace yet, but I promise I'll let you know when it is :)  Nashville...watch out for Wild Honey.
