God and Pepsi
November 19, 2007
Eventually I hope that you realize that you can learn about God through anything, why do we think that these two don't go together.
We possibly could look at Diet Pepsi and ask ourselves if we are treating Jesus any different.
We will order 2 big macs and a super sized fry and get a diet pepsi as if it's going to make everything better.
But really it's not just accepting the diet beverege, it's ALSO living your life to match your desires to stay healthy.
We need to also engage in the action of excercise.
Sound famliar?
We sin as much as we want, and ask Jesus to forgive our sins, then still order the same thing!
Lets make our every action match the reason we drink diet soda.
Let our every action match the fact that we said 'we are sorry' for our sins!
Belief is not limited to accepting a set of statements, it's also living as if you believe those set of statements.
(I'm telling you, ask God what you can learn from ANYTHING!)
your friend,
-Isaac

My mom is one of those people who orders a diet pepsi to make up for the other stuff.
I really liked that example and I will try and apply that to things I do every day. (I'm currently trying my hardest to change who I used to be, I want to find my faith and become the best person I can be)
