saturday. finally.
October 27, 2007
back to the everyday here in new york.
the weather has changed, and i feel as though summer is gone for good.
today its raining,
grey, and chilly.
absolutely perfect if you ask me.
jenn has a play list on,
and the whole apartment smells like pumpkins.
shes baking pumpkin pie.
right now leonard cohen is playing,
before him ryan adams.
tonight we will have friends over.
the usual crew
plus lance if he decides to come.
ive been thinking about life,
about what matters.
i feel so lucky everyday, to have the things i have.
even on the days when im trying to make ends meet.
things always come together,
work out in the end.
and i dont know how or why,
i just know that right now,
on this rainy saturday, with pie and friends,
im so happy.
i wouldnt change anything at all.

nate,
i totally love your blog.
i love the way you write
and the things you write about.
as i was reading this entry,
i was particularly struck
that it is not just that your life
is better than anyone elses
(cmon, lets be honest, it is)
but that you have better gratitude.
kudos, my friend.
rock on.
love to jenn.
