short shorts and tennis raquets....

April 19, 2008

it's finally spring time here in michigan. although we michiganders know never to expect the weather to stay, i'm enjoying it while it lasts. during the time off i've cultured myself by watching all six of the star wars legacy, visiting local churches and doing some much needed spring cleaning. my garage was a mess. like 'should have been on one of those reality tv shows were there's no other option than to call in some little old british ladies to come and tell you how dirty your place is' kind of mess. i'm glad it's done.
i went to the thrift store yesterday and purchased a 1980's styled racing bike. best 15 bux i've spent in a long, long time. i got real excited about it last night and decided to go on an all night bike riding adventure to break in my new ride thinking i was actually in shape. i went about a mile and a half and couldn't take it any longer. i almost fell while walking up my side walk to my front door; twice. oh well, here's to good health!

Lauren said: Hey Seth... Its Lauren Maiale... I saw your post on myspace... so I thought i'd leave a comment :) I LOVE late night bike rides... most exhilirating thing ever... I have an oooooold 1950s blue bike with a big seat, and a basket on the front. haha, i love it. Riding on countryroads at night is the best though, away from the detroit air and such. Enjoy the weather while you're here! Peace.
Sahsha said: Dude the best night bike rides are around your neighborhood, after New Years, like right after you celebreate it! You get to see all the fireworks and you get a workout. Just be careful because some people fire guns? Yeah, I don't get it either.......? Oh well, it also probably wouldn't work on New Years in Michigan, but way down here in Florida it does. :-)/ :-(...... Why in the world am I up this late? Oh yeah because you guys rocked when me and a friend caught you guys @ The Garage with Kill Hannah and the Pink Spiders! Oh man I got into so much trouble for sneaking out and going to that show! When I didn't go to school the next day, my friends thought that my mom had killed me and buried me in the backyard! Lmao! It was SOOOOOOO worth it though! ;-) Well keep up the awesome blog and the awesome music! xoxoxo -Sahsha
